“Emotional”, the fifth single from Ashe’s sophomore album, Rae, is a song about letting go and having fun.

Ashe first teased the track on August 12th, 2022, by tweeting the lyrics to the first verse. This was shortly followed by her posting an Instagram Story and a TikTok video containing the corresponding audio. There was an overwhelmingly positive response from the public, with her “Emotional” TikTok videos gaining a combined total of 890K views in just one week.

The music video features Ashe alongside her band, which consists of Leroy Clampitt on bass, Tim Spier on drums, and Morgan Paros on violin.
