On “Blind,” SZA speaks about how she is blind to the good things in here life, while also touching on attempting to seek the things that are right in front of you.

The song was first featured at the end of the music video third single off of SOS, “Shirt”, which was released on October 28, 2022. On December 3, 2022, SZA was the musical guest on SNL. SZA performed “Shirt” and announced her album title, SOS at the end of that performance. SZA also performed “Blind” for the first time in full. SZA later released the SOS (Official Album Trailer), with the second half of the song.
