Described as the most positive song on the album by Goulding due to it’s uplifting nature, “Anything Could Happen” is the lead single and third track from Halcyon, the sophomore studio album by English singer and producer Ellie Goulding.

Released on August 17, 2012, the album charted at #5 in the UK, #20 in Australia and #47 in the United States. It also garnered positive reviews from critics who enjoyed Goulding’s vocals and the songs lyrics.

The song was produced by Jim Elliot & Ellie Goulding, who both wrote the track. They even invited the London Community Gospel Choir to assist Goulding on the track, you can hear their work at the end of “Anything Could Happen”.
