“Takin' Over” is the first promotional single and official soundtrack for 2022 Mutya ng Pilipinas by G22. It was released on December 7, 2022.

Prior to the release of the single, “Takin' Over” was first performed by G22 at the 2022 Mutya ng Pilipinas as an official soundtrack to the annual local beauty pageant.

On December 5, 2022, the group announced, that Takin' Over will be officially released on Music streaming services. On December 7, the single was officially released under and distributed by UMG Philippines.
