The song later made an appearance on the first tracklist Kanye West shared himself on February 18, as “530.” Finally, it appeared as “Dear Summer” on the February 22 setlist for the Miami listening party for the album, shared by Ben Baller on the same night.

This song was first previewed at the start of Ye’s short documentary, LAST WEEK, released on October 10, 2022. The snippet showcased a reference track in the background of Ye’s rapping and some mumbled lyrics.

The full song was leaked on December 22nd, 2022. The segment Ye previewed can be heard in the latter part of the leak, although without the unknown artists vocals layered on top.
