The song was first previewed by Lil Keed in an Instagram post on April 26, 2022, and was also his final post before his death on May 13, 2022. The song eventually leaked online on December 26, 2022.

The song’s official release was announced by Keed’s mother and management team in an Instagram post on January 30, 2023.
