The sixth track on The Black Crowes‘ 1990 album Shake Your Money Maker, and one of the singles from the album. “Hard to Handle” is a blues rock cover version of the soul song originally made by Otis Redding and written by Redding, Al Bell and Allen Jones. It became a famous song in its own right (perhaps moreso than the original), charting #1 on the Billboard Album Rock Tracks chart and #26 on the Billboard Hot 100.
