Dreamer was created to celebrate Alan Walker 10 years of him uploading his music on YouTube. On April 1st 2023, he posted a poll on X asking his fans if he should return to where he started in music (NCS), which receives positive feedback from his fans, voting ‘Yes’ on the poll. Following the tweet, on 4th April, Alan and NoCopyrightSounds (NCS) reached an agreement for the song with Alan simply post 🤝 on the post. On 8th April, he posted a post on X, announcing that after 100 hours, the Dreamers official music video has been released.
