“Things We Be Doin' For Money Part 2” is part 2 to a two-parter storytelling track from Busta Rhymes' 2nd solo album, “When Disaster Strikes…”. Where in part 1, he rapped from the perspective of a robber, here, he raps from the perspective of the robbed person, who now is taking revenge on his robbers.

The track takes place as a back-and-forth phone call between Busta and featured artist Rampage as the robbery takes place, and, although they don’t provide vocals, the other members of Flipmode Squad are clearly present as well. This song is clearly negative about the prospect of robbing someone, as we can see from the final lines from Busta Rhymes. This is one of the darkest songs of the man’s career, and one of the most haunting.

Busta also utilises vocals on the end of the track from Anthony Hamilton & The Chosen Generation, who weren’t as well known then as they are now. The skit on the end reveals that the storyline was all just a dream, and the robbery never took place. This skit is only available on the physical copies of the album, not the streaming version.
