“Bass Rattle Stars Out the Sky” is about Ride tripping so hard his very perception of reality has been skewed to absurd lengths. He feels like vomiting, the stars are falling out of the sky, there are voices in his head, he thinks he just plunged his own thumbs into his eyes, (not that it matters, since his mind’s eye is operational), and his consciousness is becoming ever more fragmented, tying in with the recurring theme of him falling out of touch with reality and becoming even more disconnected from the real world.

This is the twelfth and penultimate track on Death Grips' second full-length studio album, No Love Deep Web.
