“Cops and robbers” is written from the perspective of Joshua Domingo, an imaginary resident of Wallsocket, MI who was caught embezzling $425,000 from a bank he worked at for over a decade.

The lead single from underscores' sophomore album, Wallsocket, the song was released on May 3, 2023, accompanied by a music video.
