FAN serves as the second single from Offset’s SET IT OFF album. The track features two parts: a brief intro featuring Offset singing about a failed relationship and how he moved on, then a hard hitting second half where Set unleashes his frustration for those who may have doubted or crossed him while also dealing with encounters of different women in life.

FAN was first previewed by Offset at a concert performance in Qatar on December 9, 2022. In May of 2023, Offset revealed the song’s title and that it would be on his upcoming sophomore solo album in an interview with Variety. The track’s release was announced by Offset in an Instagram post on September 6, 2023.
