“Got Me Started” is the sophomore single from Troye Sivan’s third studio album “Something to Give Each Other“. Most notably the track samples “Shooting Stars“ by the Bag Raiders, this song was made popular in 2017 by being featured in meme videos of people flying through space. Bag Raiders have stated in a TikTok that Sivan is the first artist they let sample their hit.

Sivan has revealed in a TikTok that the song is about “remembering who you are and that people are hot” after “feeling emotionally dead after a traumatic relational experience”. In the caption, he credits “ ” as his first crush since his “resurrection”. People have theorized this is about Manu Ríos, who fits the asterisks provided by the singer.
