wrote this song at the stampede (a yearly calgary event) when i was in a really bizarre love triangle with two of my dearest friends. When I wrote this, I didn’t know how to be alone (and sober) I was always out partying and at the end of the day I’d get home to a disgustingly messy apartment because I was never home to clean or work on ElyOtto.
