“Slime You Out” is the SZA-accompanied lead single to Drake’s highly anticipated eighth studio album, For All The Dogs.

On the track, both artists cruise over topics of being used by their ex-lovers, while sharing their own personal feelings, revealing their malicious tendencies towards the opposite gender as to “slime” one out means to use them for their sexual benefits.

The song’s production sees heavy use of drums and bass while masked by the mellow sound of a keyboard, playing into the psychedelic feel of Drake and SZA’s voice, matching the strong R&B tone of the track.

Drake first teased the release during a stop of his It’s All a Blur tour in Austin, TX, where he promised fans he would drop a single at the end of the week as the wait continued for the album. On September 14, 2023, just one day prior to the track’s release, both artists took to Instagram to share an image of the promotional cover art for the track — an image of Halle Berry being slimed at the 25th Annual Kids' Choice Awards.

However, following the announcement, in Drake’s Dallas, TX, show, he performed the entirety of the song.
