“Crime Story” is a fictional but cautionary tale where Hammer and his hype man 2 Big commit crimes and are then punished with street justice for them. The odd verses (1 & 3) talk about how the criminals think they’ve gotten away with their actions, and the even verses (2 & 4) show people getting revenge on them.
