“Burn It Down” is the third track from “To. X”, the 5th mini-album by South Korean singer TAEYEON. It was described as a pop ballad song featuring an addictive guitar riff with lyrics complaining about how everything in a relationship has been ruined (burned down) by TAEYEON’s partner who’s using love as an excuse to hurt her.

This song seems to be a direct response to Burn It Down which is sung from the narcissist’s point of view. Here, the victim is asking their partner if it was fun to play with them, and is telling them that they had no right to destroy the relationship the way that they did.
