Amazon Standing Lamp is the first track from Wilbur Soot’s second solo album, Mammalian Sighing Reflex. The title is likely a reference to a joke made by Wilbur during the Dream SMP about him writing a song by the name “Top heavy Amazon standing lamp”. The narrative voice of this song, presumably Will himself, sings about mental issues, loneliness & living in emotional darkness. He blames his sadness for losing the majority of his friends, explaining that the only light left in his life is artificial light from the bulb in a simple lamp.
