“Butterflies” is track 7 of Tyla’s eponymous album, based on the rollercoaster of being in a complicated relationship, the ups and the downs.

The partner’s “disguise” is their hidden intentions, (something talked about a lot in Tyla’s songs) Knowing this, Tyla wants to runaway, to end this relationship, but her heart yearns for the overwhelmingness of the relationship, leaving her in a split path.
