“1,000 Hours” is the first song on the 1,000 Hours EP, Green Day’s debut album. The song is supposedly about being overwhelmed by the enigmatic perceptions of love. When in a relationship, it seems as though all one wants to do is spend time with that their significant other, and when they’re not in your presence, you long for their return and dream about them and what you could do when you’re with them.
