Josh Maison (formerly Jxsh) is a musician hailing from Cleveland, Ohio. The majority of Josh’s modern releases are alternative and experimental pop—his older releases contain more discernible elements of R&B.

Josh Maison is a former member of the Anti-World multimedia collective, receiving cosigns and support from members of the group following sending a track to the founder of the collective, Sybyr—as discussed in a Q&A. Shortly thereafter, he released his debut project, LOVERBOY in August 2018.

In interviews with Underground Underdogs and as you wish, he has stated that he gave up on an R&B sound and advanced into a pop-focused direction:

Most of my old stuff was alt R&B and it’s all trash. I fucking hate that genre. It’s stupid saturated and most of the artists are trash.

Josh Maison’s debut full-length LP, Josh Maison Superstar, was released on July 21, 2021.
