Artist

Jonney Ford, better known as Joyryde (July 24, 1985-) – stylized as JOYRYDE – is a British electronic house music artist. He is the “prodigal son” (as well as the actual son) of Phantasm Records founder John Ford (aka Johnny Phantasm). Joyryde’s music uses many references to cars in the sound effects and imagery for his songs.

Joyryde also performs under the name Eskimo, and is one half of the British dance/electronic duo Lets Be Friends. As a solo artist, Joyryde is most well-known for his songs “DAMN” (ft. Freddie Gibbs), and “WINDOWS” (ft. Rick Ross), and “FLO”- which samples vocals from Murda Mook during Mook’s 2003 URLtv rap battle against Loaded Lux.
