Resurrecting Queenz is an all female hip hop collective, consisting of 20 artists from Washington, DC. All from different life backgrounds, cultures, and musical aesthetics, their mission is to unite all women no matter the background, through music and art.

Officially founded in 2015 by Washington, DC native and emcee Kenilworth Katrina, the group came into recognition with their remake of Self Destruction by KRS-One. The song consisted of 24 women (rappers, singer, DJ, and host), all on one track, created to shed light on the violence going on in the city as well as to show that women can be united.
