Molly Rankin (born July 27, 1987) is frontwoman for the Canadian indie-pop band Alvvays. Growing up in Nova Scotia, she was deeply influenced by her father John Morris Rankin, a member of Irish folk music group The Rankin Family.

In 2000, her father died in a car accident.

In 2010 she released She EP, before forming Alvvays with her partner Alec O'Hanley and longtime friend Kerri MacLellan, as well as former members Brian Murphy and Phil MacIsaac.
