Akeem Douglas Hayes (born July 26, 1992), known professionally as Guapdad 4000, is an American rapper and singer from Oakland, California. He has been a large figure in the rise of “scam rap,” coining and popularizing the term “finnam,” and referencing scamming throughout his music, which became the main focus on his debut mixtape Scamboy Color, released in December 8, 2017.

In 2019, Guapdad was heavily featured on Dreamville’s ROTD3, taking part in some of his most popular songs to date. Later that year, he released his debut album, Dior Deposits, featuring appearances from artists like Chance the Rapper, 6LACK, Tory Lanez, and more.

In 2020, Guapdad released a pair of EPs, Platinum Falcon Tape, Vol. 1, and it’s sequel, Platinum Falcon Returns. The following year, he released his sophomore album, 1176, a collaboration with producer !llmind.
