In 2019, Why Don’t We & Macklemore released a track named “I Don’t Belong in This Club”, describing the situation in which someone goes to a club thinking that they’d enjoy their time, only to feel awkward and out of place.
Teaming up with Macklemore became Why Don’t We’s third collaboration with another artist. Their first collaboration was with Logan Paul and the second collaboration was with Mike Singer.
For Macklemore, the collaboration with Why Don’t We was one of many collaborations he has done in his lifetime, seeing how he has worked with more than ten other artists to make songs.
