Big DS

Artist

Marlon Fletcher (1971–2003) was rapper from Queens, New York, co-founder and member of the hardcore rap group Onyx. It was Big DS who came up with the name of the group.

As a part of Onyx Marlon released only one album Bacdafucup (1993) and in 1994 he left the group for a solo career. After recording Keep It Ill EP, Big DS sent it to Jimmy Iovine, co-owner of Interscope, but was declined.

In 2003 Marlon died after receiving chemo as a result of lymphatic cancer at 31 years old.
