Marvel Studios, originally known as Marvel Films from 1993 to 1996, is an American motion picture studio based at The Walt Disney Studios in Burbank, California. Since 2012, the studio is a subsidiary of The Walt Disney Studios, itself a wholly owned division of The Walt Disney Company, with film producer Kevin Feige serving as President.

Marvel Studios are the film studio responsible for the creation of a multi-film franchise known as the Marvel Cinematic Universe (or MCU). Thus far, it has released 20 movies since 2008 (from Iron Man in 2008 to Ant-Man and the Wasp a decade later) as well as several TV series, whether regular (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.) or Netflix (Daredevil, Jessica Jones).
