Willie Junior Maxwell II (born June 7, 1991), better known by his stage name Fetty Wap, is a rapper and singer coming out of Paterson, New Jersey. He describes his musical style as “ignorant R&B.”

“Fetty” means money and “Wap” is a homage to “Guwop,” a nickname for Gucci Mane (though “Guwop” can also mean money).

Fetty’s known for his breakout hit “Trap Queen” and other songs like “679,” “My Way,” “Again,” and “Jimmy Choo.”

He released his debut eponymous album Fetty Wap on September 25, 2015.
