Vega – previously known as Four Men – were a group consisting of Eugene, Ahsohn and Tennel Williams and Jason Chenevert, discovered by super producer Dallas Austin in 1999. He subsequently signed them to his Capitol label imprint Freeworld Entertainment.

In 1999, the band supported TLC on tour as well as releasing the promo singles “Let Me Get It”, “Mommie” and “No Dough”.

However, despite the promo CD of their debut LP “Life On Earth” being sent out to press, the failure of their singles ultimately let to the cancellation of the album.

A new single “It’s The Way” was then released during the holidays in 2000, still under Capitol/Freeworld, as a double a-side with “Jingle Bells”. The promo single announced a new untitled album for the following year, but this also never materialised and the group disbanded soon after.
