Big Yavo (b. August 2, 2000) is an Alabama rapper known for his distinctive blend of raw energy and playful vocals. Though he views rap as a hobby rather than a profession, his creative output has been exceptional.

Originally recognized as 41st Yavo, a homage to his Birmingham residence, he began his musical journey by recording songs and sharing videos on YouTube in 2019. He later adopted the moniker Big Yavo in early 2020. Signing with Cinematic Music Group, he made his debut with the single “No Pen” and swiftly followed up with On God, Gorilla Warfare and Dumb Ass that same year.

In 2020, Big Yavo released a multitude of mixtapes including On God which secured a spot on the Billboard charts in 2021. He achieved viral success with tracks like “No Pen,” “Him” and “Rich”.

In 2021, he presented On God II, which boasted a guest appearance from Wiz Khalifa on the track “Hotbox (Remix).” This album soared into the Top Ten of Billboard’s Heatseekers chart, while its hit song “Rich” captivated TikTok users with its infectious dance trend.

Continuing his productive streak, Yavo released Like Yay, highlighted by the immensely streamed single “Him.” The following year, he dropped several singles, including the introspective “Fronted,” as well as “Lumberjack,” “Cabbage Patch” and “Yayski.”

In 2022, his full-length album The Largest arrived in November, showcasing collaborations with Bankroll Freddie, TLE Cinco and Rylo Rodriguez.
