ELLSEA

Artist

Lindsay Marie Capuano (born June 30, 1998), known profesionally as Ellsea, is an American fashion model, social media influencer, and a musician, hailing from Connecticut.

Being fond of fashion, makeup, and modeling ever since she was a child, Lindsay started to make a career in the same field. She began modeling on Instagram by sharing her photos and videos of her fashion and modeling. She gained popularity on the platform in a short span of time, as her photos and videos garnered millions of views.

In an Instagram Q&A, she revealed how she got the stage name Ellsea:

My initials are LC
I really like the sound of that! So I chose to make it into an actual artist name “Ellsea”

Lindsay revealed in an Instagram Q&A that she started singing since she was born, but started singing publicly through elementary school choirs and theater programs. Her passion for her official musical journey began back in September 2020, when she created a music account on Instagram. On her newly created account, she would post covers of songs from other artists.

It wouldn’t be until May 2021 where she would start creating her own music. When she began, she would do covers of songs from other artists such as Lil Peep and Adele. It wasn’t until February 25, 2022, when she dropped her debut single “Shotgun Love,” after much anticipated waiting from her fans.

After keeping quiet about her musical career, in 2023, Lindsay would officially change her stage name into Ellsea. Since then, she has previewed a ton of unreleased songs through her Instagram page, as well as updating fans about her unreleased material. Then on April 14, 2023, after much anticipated waiting, Lindsay released her second single, “POV.”
