Cristian Samuel Francisco Gomez (b. November 2, 2005), better known as Lonely Cortell, is an underground rapper/artist hailing from Monroe, Wisconsin, signed to VXTAL’s record division, best known for songs such as “see u never”, “enemy”, “moonlight”, “FaceTime”, “hope u die”, and “goodbye my love”
Lonely’s origins date back to end period of the SoundCloud era, as he credits artists such as the late XXXTENTACION, and the late Juice WRLD as his main influences for his early work. Lonely started off his career in the summer of 2019 under the name Lil Vortex which he would later change to LXI Vortex in 2020. During this time period Lonely released his debut EP THE D0WN3R as well as it’s successors Far Gone and BLACK H3ART, two collaborative projects with his now disbanded collective DARK SINS, and finally his debut album Dear Earth, Fuck U at the end of 2021.
After a hiatus and a heartbreak in 2022, the rapper made a comeback in 2023, returning under the name Lonely Cortell, and delivered his highly anticipated sophomore album nothings different. Lonely later signed with VXTAL’s record division.
