ovine hall is glaive’s hyperpop alter-ego. Started during the rollout of his debut album, i care so much that i dont care at all, glaive would begin to release high-pitched songs on alternate SoundCloud accounts, such as “i would pay to see them try,” which released a week prior to “as if.” Two weeks before ovine hall’s debut release, glaive would begin teasing the side-project—posting two snippets and a blurred tracklist.
Initially, the debut EP was released only on SoundCloud. It was later added to streaming platforms on May 20, 2023.
