After his departure from popular thrash metal band Megadeth, Marty Friedman moved to Japan to pursue his solo career. Friedman is known for his improvisation and for fusing Eastern musical with Western music and other styles, such as neoclassical, thrash metal and later progressive rock. He currently has 15 official studio albums and 2 EPs.
