Tim Hecker is a Canadian electronic artist who specialises in ambient, drone, glitch, and electroacoustic music. His career started under the Jetone moniker, under which he performed several DJ sets and released three techno albums. In 2001, he switched to performing under his real name and developed his experimental ambient sound with the album Haunt Me, Haunt Me Do It Again, and has since released several albums, including the Instrumental Tourist collaboration with Daniel Lopatin AKA Oneohtrix Point Never.
