Chris Poland

Chris Poland is an American musician, born on December 1, 1957. Originally a jazz fusion guitarist, he joined thrash metal band Megadeth in 1983, appearing on their first two albums. He was fired from the band alongside drummer Gar Samuelson in 1987. He resurfaced as a bassist for hardcore punk band, Circle Jerks before cutting his solo album, Return to Metalopolis in 1990. Since this, he has played in fusion band OHM and collaborated with various other groups, including Megadeth, for whom he performed solos for on their 2004 album, The System Has Failed, although not as an official member.
