Beast Coast is a Brooklyn rap collective consisting of a trio of rap groups: the Pro Era members CJ Fly, Joey Bada$$, Kirk Knight, Nyck Caution and Powers Pleasant; the Flatbush Zombies, formed by Meechy Darko, Zombie Juice and Erick Arc Elliot; The Underachievers, constituted by Issa Gold and AKTHESAVIOR.
The idea of the group was first formed by the late Pro Era rapper Capital STEEZ. The New York, East-Coast centred collective also first encompassed the A$AP Mob.
The group’s debut came with “Left Hand”, released on March 11th, 2019, which also acted as the lead single for their first album, Escape From New York.
