Max Taylor is a s musical artist, producer, event host, and true renaissance man. Born in the northern suburbs of Chicago, Taylor moved to Milan, Italy for two years and later relocated to Minneapolis where he currently resides. Introduced to music at a young age, Max began to learn to play the piano by ear before his fifth birthday and later began to avidly play the guitar, drums, trombone, and even the violin. By the time Taylor was in the seventh grade, he began to dabble in digital audio workstations such as GarageBand, Mixcraft, FL Studio, Logic, and finally settled upon Ableton Live once reaching high school which lead to the development of the unique, consistent production value Max brings forth to each of his original tracks today.

After discovering his mother’s collection of De La Soul cassette tapes as a young boy, not only did Taylor hear his first curse words but he had discovered a rich form of art that is hip-hop. Along with his passion for poetry came the constant quest to jot down lyrics that expressed his emotions at any given moment. Entering freshman year of high school, Taylor purchased the final piece of equipment that would spur his burgeoning career; a microphone and USB interface. The young entrepreneur was then able to record to the instrumental tracks he invested lots of his time into for the rest of the world to experience. By the time he reached eleventh grade, to complete his mark in the music industry, Max began consistently managing hip-hop and alternative music events at local venues such as The Depot in Hopkins, The Garage in Burnsville, and The Red Sea in Minneapolis, just to name a few.
