Artist

Isabela Merced, aka Isabela Moner, (Born July 10, 2001) is an American singer-songwriter and actress. She starred in many movies and shows including, “Dora and the Lost City of Gold,” (2019) “Instant Family,” (2018) “Transformers: The Last Knight,” (2017) and many more. Merced appeared on Broadway’s Evita and released a Broadway produced EP “Stopping Time” in 2015.

In October 2019, Merced talks to Refinery29 about the change in her last name from Moner to Merced, she explains, “This is when I begin writing my own story as Isabela Merced. This has been a very difficult year for my brothers, mom, and me. This is how I say goodbye to that and welcome a new chapter with those who are close to me. Isabela Merced represents everything that has and will continue to define me. It represents the values that were passed on from my grandmother. She was a force of nature, unafraid of anything, always ready to take on every challenge and person that said she couldn’t. At the same time, she loved her familia; nothing came before that. Her ideal day would be a day at the beach with the family, music, dancing, and eating alitas (chicken wings) or ceviche. This is me! I hope this continues on my grandmother’s legacy because she left us too soon.”

Before the release of her debut single “PAPI” in 2019, she collaborated with two artists – Matt Hunter on “Lista de Espera,” and Sebastián Yatra on “My Only One (No Hay Nadie Mas),” & released a song titled “I’ll Stay” from the “Instant Family” Soundtrack.
