“$ave Dat Money” is the first single from Lil Dicky’s debut studio album Professional Rapper. He collabs with summer star Fetty Wap on the hook and a short interlude by Rich Homie Quan to make a song unlike all other rap songs: saving money instead of blowing it all.

It’s interesting to note that both features and the producer, Money Alwayz, have artist names that revolve around the concept of wealth.

The song gained popularity when the music video (which cost $0 to make) was released. Celebrities such as T-Pain, Kevin Durant, Sarah Silverman, Hannibal Buress, and Mark Cuban were featured. The music video also featured mansions and houses that were acquired by going door to door in Beverly Hills and borrowing each item for 15 minutes. Not only did Lil Dicky not spend any money in filming, but he actually made $600 in product placement.
