When You Believe is a song composed for the 1998 film The Prince of Egypt. Written by Stephen Stewart, produced by Babyface and performed by Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston, it was released in the same year to promote the film.

The song appears in the end credits of the film but there is also a version in the film performed by Michelle Pfeiffer and Sally Dworsky and produced by Hans Zimmer.

There are two versions of the song: When You Belive, a version released as a single and later released on Whitney’s Album and Mariah’s compilation, and The Prince Of Egypt (When You Believe), a version available on the Soundtrack.
