On “Apple Pie,” the final track from Travis Scott’s debut album Rodeo, Travis finally decides to jump off his mother’s porch into the real world.

As Travis makes it to the mainstream of the ruthless music industry, he realizes life can’t always be as sweet as his mother’s apple pie, and that he has a legacy to build. The outro voiced by T.I. explaining the motive behind Rodeo is a prayer of sorts, similar to the introduction of the album, “Pornography.”
