“Don’t Try” is a mellow song, featuring violins and guitars as it tells the tale of someone struggling to get by.

Although it was recorded during the Hesitant Alien sessions, “Don’t Try” didn’t make it to the final tracklist. Instead, it was released as a limited edition Record Store Day release along with “Pinkish” on the A-side.
