Duppy Riddim

Duppy Riddim

Chip

This track is a response to Bugzy’s prerecorded
“Zombie Riddim” which was released at the same time as Chip’s “Dickhead” response. It only took him a day to record this track adding on to his reputation of how he “can’t run out of bars”. He also takes a couple more shots at Tinie Tempah who he responded to a couple days before with his video entitled “Coward” in under 24 hours.

Chip takes an interesting approach on Bugzy’s rumors from the diss as Bugzy says: “I’ll kill four tracks with one word, snitch” and then goes off to say: “I turned 28 grams to a kilo”. Chip responds saying the man is “mad” and then makes a deep point: “you want to chat about snitch every song you make, you snitch on yourself”. He seems to have no problem juggling the beef between his 2 opponents as he re-sparked it with Tinie 2 weeks before during his “96 Bars of Revenge” when firing at both the MCs. As you can see from the positive feed back from fans, Chip is turning some heads with his relentless responses.

He does label this as another “mad ting” as an example of how angry and versatile of an MC he can be when compared to his opponents. He also addresses his wishes for the clash as he does it over the famous Roll Deep beat “When I’m ‘Ere”.

2 weeks after the track was released without a reply from Bugzy left Chip to release his music video entitled “#Alone” mocking Bugzy’s lack of success at the MOBOs.
