“Blow a Check” is up-and-coming Miami by-way-of-Haiti rapper Zoey Dollaz' breakout track. The song started to get attention outside of Miami after Puff Daddy and French Montana hopped on for a remix.

“Blow a Check” first starting blowing up in the Miami club scene as soon as Zoey Dollaz released it in late August, 2015. Zooey told told WPCG:

If you go to Miami, no exaggeration, you hear the song at least 100 times at every club you go to.

Zoey told Shade 45 that it took him only 15 minutes to record the track after producer Smash David sent the beat to his phone.
