Both artists throw subliminal jabs at Justin Bieber, who mocked The Weeknd’s single “Starboy,” calling Abel’s music “wack” during an Instagram live stream at the 2017 Grammy awards. The most obvious diss comes at the end of The Weeknd’s verse:

I think your girl, think your girl, fell in love with me / She say my fuck, and my tongue game a remedy

“Some Way” is the first collaboration between NAV and the XO founder, The Weeknd.
