Mac Dre made this whole album over the phone (with producer Khayree on the other end) from the Fresno County Jail while awaiting trial for conspiracy to commit bank robbery (the 2005 re-release included bonus tracks recorded from Lompoc Federal Penitentiary where he served his sentence). This track was recorded prior to his conviction and it gives the listener an idea of what it was like for him in jail and that he needs to be freed so he can be back in his neighborhood where he belongs.

The track was also released as a single and the cassette liner contained the lyrics.
