Six years after his debut, Mack reappeared with a brand new flow and subsequently blew up. “Flava in Ya Ear” reached the top 10 of the Hot 100, went platinum and also received a Grammy nomination for Best Rap Solo Performance.

The song is also well known for its excellent remix which featured Rampage, LL Cool J, Busta Rhymes, Puff Daddy and The Notorious B.I.G.
