On “Butterfly Coupe,” Atlanta rapper Playboi Carti raps with a feature of Yung Bans on the laid back song. The artists boast about their material possessions and lavish lifestyles, while also flexing their expensive automobiles.

This song was originally a solo Carti song that was scrapped and never to be released. For years it was sought after by fans. Eventually it somehow ended up in the hands of the song’s producer, MilanMakesBeats. He invited his friend Yung Bans to record a verse for the song and they released it to spite Playboi Carti (Milan previously had beef with Carti over not paying for beats, see this interview).

Carti was ultimately very upset about the release of this song, taking it down with copyright strikes whenever possible and even sending death threats to Milan and Bans (DMs are with a close friend of Milan):
